Teaching Methods
Alina with a beginner's group. Our instructors are native speakers and certified teachers. A number of them teach abroad during the academic year. All have a considerable experience in teaching French as a foreign language. Our goal is to create a lively classroom environment through the active participation of the students by prioritizing verbal skills. We teach you to communicate in French as rapidly as possible through role playing, verbal presentations and practical conversation. Although the student is encouraged to speak as much as possible, we do not neglect reading, grammar or enunciation. The teacher listens and corrects.

Lunch With Teachers

Light lunch at 'Comptoir des Gones'.As an option from Monday through Friday at a typical French restaurant "Comptoir des Gones”. Which is also our meeting place for new arrivals and for the coffee break. It is an opportunity to meet and chat with our teachers and practice your French in a relaxed milieu. You will be served outdoors under the shade of parasols and plane trees. The menu is varied, with three courses, wine and coffee. There will be a teacher at every table. The chef, Monsieur Didier, provides such a superb cuisine that this restaurant is one of the most popular among the locals in Saint-Raphaël. Other than the students from our school, the patrons of Comptoir des Gones are largely regulars from St-Raphaël.

There will be three types of lunch participation, all the three taking place on the sidewalk terrace of our French restaurant " Comptoir des Gones ":

1. The regular three-course menu for adults and students who book the package with a French teacher at their table.
2. The light menu for youngsters who book the package and want to be served rapidly within a half hour that includes the main course + dessert + soft drink.
3. The others - who decide to have a light or regular lunch from time-to-time. They can book a table the very same day during the coffee-break. A light option for people in a hurry, without a French teacher at their table, a main dish + a soft drink or wine for around 6 - 7 Euros.

Saturday Cooking Classes

Our school will provide an excellent local cook who will instruct the Saturday cooking classes at a very affordable fee.
The participants will learn the French vocabulary related to food and everything you have to know when going out to a French restaurant and being able to order in perfect French! Each class will be followed by a lunch of the food prepared during the course. The course is limited to 4 people per session so as to give every participant the space needed in the kitchen.
At the end of the course, each participant at the cooking session receives printed recipes of the menu they learned to prepare.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
