We are probably the most family-friendly French Language School on the French Riviera; the only one that welcomes whole family/families parents together with their children, both teenagers and youngsters from ages 5 to 17 in different classes, at very affordable and attractive accommodation and tuiton fees.
We are a French language school located on the beautiful French Riviera and offer a wonderful way of learning French while enjoying a delightful holiday in France at very reasonable prices. Our registered name since 1977 is: France Langue & Culture.
We call this concept French Language Holidays and it basically comprises a morning language course leaving the remainder of the day for leisure and sports. The school offers a package that includes comfortable living accommodations, at most a short walk to the beach, and a Children's Club with real and playful tuiton classes and activities for the youngsters while the parents are in their classes. We also organize school excursions to fascinating and interesting places. Specializing in courses in the French language the school offers a full curriculum for individuals and families.
Since the school was founded in 1977 thousands of youngsters and adults from all over the world have attended our language courses. The headmaster or le directeur, is Edmond de Saenger, a tall, charming French Professor with the moustache of an Imperial Guardsman who has been a lecturer in French economics at Stockholm University. He created the French language holiday concept so that the teaching is done in small groups, in a pleasant and cheerful ambience using outdoor facilities in beautiful elegant gardens and quiet outdoor terraces under large shade parasols in the shadow of plane trees. Our classes are taught in three different gardens all in central Saint Raphaël, all close to each other and at most a short walk to the beach.
Since 2007, when our school was celebrating its 30th anniversary, each student attending our classes received a special anniversary present. For summer 2009, you will receive one present as well, a present you will have use for during your whole lifetime !... How times go by! And the saying goes... “we're still going strong.” We once had a conventional printed brochure with pictures in black and white, later with pictures in color and now... no brochures are needed any longer because of the Internet and our Website. No one asks for a brochure anymore. It has been a permanent concern for us to keep up with the new technologies and we offer practical and friendly solutions. Our French language school provides a window into France that the tourist seldom sees. It offers a view into French life and customs with the purpose of creating language fluency as quickly as possible. We offer a variety of courses from beginner's lessons up to intensive courses for professionals with reasonably priced living accommodations as part of the course package. You can join your classmates and teachers at lunch in a local restaurant that we also use as our headquarters for our meetings and coffee breaks.
