Course

  • - 2, 3 or 4 weeks, 4 hrs/day
    - 20 lessons/week, Monday-Friday
    - Two teachers share the class
    - 8-10 students per class

Accomodation

With a French family. Double room with separate beds. Single room is optional. This is an important part of your stay in France. Our host families are carefully selected since many years back. This enables you to get an enriching insight in the daily life of the French, their manners and customs. You will be treated as a full member of the family but with the obligation to follow the rules of the home.

If you are between the ages of 13 to 17 there is also lodging in the Youth Hostel as described in the link LODGING. Rooms are shared plus breakfast and dinner seven days a week. This is at the same rate as with a French family. The hostel is very close to our school.

Meals

Student 2009Seven days a week, breakfast and evening meals with your host family or in the hostel. If you choose full board, you will have lunch with the school, Monday - Friday.

Recreation

SailingSocial and cultural activities are organized in the afternoon. Beaches with volley-ball. Roller-blading on the sea front promenade in St-Raphaël. Water-skiing and sailing at the Club Nautique. Diving for both beginners and advanced divers under professional supervision. Golf, tennis and windsurfing are included in our programs at special reduced rates.

Instruction

BBQTwo different teachers share the morning lectures. One before the coffee break and another afterwards. One is multi-lingual in order to speed up the understanding of French grammar. There is intensive practice in "role plays" between the student and the others in the class. The student is encouraged to speak as much as possible. Verbal skills are developed through practice!

Pocket Money

Can be deposited with the school and will then be distributed to the student once or twice a week according to the wishes of the parents.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
